Ministry of Buildings & Grounds

 Purpose of Committee : To maintain the Buildings and Grounds of church and manse and to manage the use of our facilities with outside individuals.

Ministry of Communications

Responsible for producing communication/publication related to the work of Hawfields Presbyterian Church.  Committees, ministry teams and other church related groups are responsible for sharing their needs with Communications.  Examples of this work include posters, bulletin boards, newsletter, new visitor pamphlet/gift, outdoor signs, website, other electronic communication, and campus signs. 

Presbyterian Men

Getting to know one another and sharing the stories of our lives. Fellowship through breakfast meetings once a month and fundraising activities.   Fat Tuesday pancake supper fundraiser for Loaves and Fishes. Prepared meal for Easter Sunrise Service and for Rally Day.

Ministry of Compassion

Compassion promotes a Ministry of caring among the church family and has the following responsibilities: Audio/Video, Bereavement, In-Crowd Remembrances,  Military Remembrances, Prayer Shawl, Shepherding, and Sickness & Sympathy Card Ministries

Community Days Committee

The mission of Hawfields Community Days is to host a community based weekend event that will attract a broad range of ages in the community providing activities, entertainment and worship while supporting the ministry of Loaves & Fishes of Mebane.  The 2012 Hawfields Community Days will be September 21 & 22.
